Founded in 2014, ICONEEK is a company that is constantly innovating and above all attentive to the demand, its customers and the market. Pioneers, passionate, experts and professionals are the adjectives that best describe Vanessa and Fabien Chicha, the two founders of ICONEEK.

Specialized in the sale and expertise of vintage and modern watches, ICONEEK’s hybrid concept is halfway between dealers and auction houses, gathering the best of both worlds: the immediate availability of models via the online Boutique, as well as the watchmaking expertise.

Located in the heart of Geneva, the first upstairs luxury watch showroom offers discretion, availability and professionalism. But above all, since 2021, in addition to the Boutique and the consulting activities, ICONEEK is a watch auction house and conducts two live auctions per year, as well as two other online-only auctions, with no seller’s commission, a first in Geneva!.

Dans ce nouvel épisode d’ICONEEK TALKS, nous avons le plaisir d’accueillir Sharmila Bertin, 48 ans, journaliste spécialisée dans le domaine de l’horlogerie depuis plus de 12 ans.

Sharmila est née en Inde et a passé sa petite enfance dans l’effervescence culturelle parisienne puis à l’étranger, avant de revenir à Paris pour y faire ses études et démarrer sa carrière professionnelle, et enfin s’installer en Suisse il y a une vingtaine d’années.

Diplômée en traduction avec une spécialisation en affaires internationales, elle a rapidement orienté son attention vers l’univers des montres où elle a acquis une expertise reconnue, explorant sa passion pour l’horlogerie.

En tant que rédactrice en chef The Watches Magazine, Sharmila a pris les rênes d’une publication trimestrielle, pour la presse écrite et numérique. Son dévouement envers cette industrie et sa capacité à rester à l’avant-garde des tendances font d’elle une figure respectée et influente dans le monde de la presse horlogère.
