This watch has really something different, first in the way to display time, second in the way to « sing » time. Its three instantaneously jumping disc, constant force mechanism, beauty and natural strength led to an astonished watch.
Within its large heavy 44.20 mm diameter, 18K white gold case, The Zeitwerk Striking Time is the world’s first mechanical wristwatch with a jumping numerals display and a visible chiming mechanism.
The full hour is indicated with a reverberant low-pitched tone, each quarter-hour with a clear high-pitched tone. The display of time is « digital » thanks to jumping numerals. Manually wound, this watch also features a power reserve indication. Dial, case and movement are signed.
