Girard-Perregaux, “Prototype no. 13”, Ref. 8028B, case no. 13, circa 1990 A fine and very unusual, large, automatic, stainless steel chronograph wristwatch with matte white dial, date and tachymeter scale, with a wooden presentation box Fitted with caliber V8BB5, based Eta 2894-2, 37 jewels Dial and case signed Girard-Perregaux, rotor signed “DJR”, for Daniel JeanRichard. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 11.70 mm. The present watch engraved on its caseback “Prototype no. 13” is featuring a special dial. The model reminds us the GP F300 series, with matte white dial and Arabic numerals. Ref. 8028 was generally equipped with two-tone dials, whereas the present watch is not.
