A fine, rare and attractive, stainless steel, hand wound, triple calendar’s wristwatch with two-tone silvered dial, created to commemorate the Banque Cantonale Vaudoise’s 100th anniversary (1845-1945). Fitted with a caliber 464A, mechanical, gilt finish, manual winding, 2-arm monometallic balance with timing screws, index regulator, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35.80 mm. Thickness 10 mm. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s triple calendar wristwatches are sought after among collectors for this complication, strongly linked to the D.N.A of the brand. The present watch belongs to a small batch created by the brand to commemorate the Banque Cantonale Vaudoise’s 100th anniversary in 1945 and later gifted by the bank to VIP clients or executive staff members. The case back is proudly engraved « Banque Cantonale Vaudoise 1845-1945 ». The present watch is powered by a caliber Cal 464/A, made between 1944 and 1945, with a total production estimated at 1800 pieces, according to scholars.
