A fine and unusual, gilt brass 8-day going, Grand and Petite sonnerie striking carriage clock with repeat and alarm.

Gilt brass, glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged carrying handle. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dial for the alarm. Blue steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass movement, rectangular plates, four pillars, barrels for the going, striking trains and alarm, straight-line escapement, monometallic balance with timing screws, flat balance spring, index regulator, striking and repeating on two gongs with two hammers, strike selection lever in the base, push button on top for striking at will.

Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
Dim. 10 x 8,5 x 14 cm.
