ST145.019, movement no. 29602069, made in 1970 An exceptional and possibly unique, water-resistant, stainless steel tonneau-shaped chronograph wristwatch with round button chronograph, prototype tobacco brown and red dial, red Omega leather strap and stainless steel Omega deployant clasp. Accompanied by an Omega Extract from the Archives, confirming that the present Seamaster prototype was produced on May 25th 1970 and delivery to the United States of America. Fitted with a Cal. 861, pink finish, manual winding, 17 jewels. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 41 x 47 mm. including lugs. Thickness 14.20 mm. ★★★★★ According to the Extract from the Archives, the present watch was part of a small batch delivered to Norman M. Morris Corporation and produced to test new dial and color configurations”. With movement number 29602069, it is interesting to notice that the present watch is only 8 number after the “Orange” Seamaster, with prototype tobacco brown and orange dial, serial no. 29602061, see lot 78.
