Finding a true collector's item that will enthrall even the most discerning collector is no easy task. But here we are in the presence of an incredible piece. It is one of the extremely rare wristwatches ever produced by Patek Philippe with a silver case, in the 20s and 30s. Never seen before on the market, this watch joins the small handful of silver wristwatches that have already appeared. It also features the distinctive turtle shape found mainly on Patek minute repeater wristwatches.
Patek Philippe wristwatches from this period in steel are rare and sought-after, those in platinum almost impossible to find, and those in solid silver, like the watch shown here, are veritable unicorns. The present watch is also featuring a silvered dial with the sought-after Breguet numerals, both confirmed by the Extract from the Archives.
