Double body Louis XV outer case, the pierced and chased bezel with lapis lazuli, the heavily chiseled and pierced back with lapis lazuli inserts, a small painted enamel portrait in a diamond-set frame and two emerald and ruby-set Imperial dragons, ruby-set bow. Diamond-set and sapphire-set garland to the front and back Double body bassine inner, pierced and engraved with foliage, flowers and a mask. Gilt brass dust cap, secured to the movement by a blued steel circular hook Fitted with a key wound round movement, hinged gilt brass full plate with column pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass English cock with diamond-set chaton, blued steel screws. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Movement and dust cap signed and numbered Diam. 38.80 mm., Diam. with outer case 47 mm. ★★
