A very fine, mint condition, water-resistant, large, cushion-shaped, stainless steel diver’s wristwatch with sandwich-type matte black dial, small second, luminous numerals, luminous hands, back plate with power reserve indication, leather strap and steel Panerai buckle.
Accompanied by a user manual for Luminor Marina 1950 3 days, additional rubber strap, certificate dated April 2014.
Fitted with Cal. P3001, rhodium plated, manual winding, screwed sapphire-set case back, winding crown secured by a lock.
Dial, case and movement signed.
Diam. 47 mm. Thickness 17.40 mm.
The patent for the tight seal device was filled in November 1959, and registered on October 4, 1960, under patent no. 2’954’665, see illustration.
Condition: in new old stock condition, first-owner, all papers, only the box missing.
