PATEK PHILIPPE , NAUTILUS REF. 5712/1A-001
Price: 81’000.- chf
Iconeek is proud to introduce here a very fine and attractive, large, water-resistant, porthole shaped, stainless steel, automatic wristwatch with power reserve indicator, moon phases and date, with a stainless steel bracelet, the sought-after Ref. 5712/1A-001, Nautilus, from Patek Philippe.
Ref. 5712 was released in October 2006 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the celebrated Nautilus collection and to replace Reference 3712, in production from 2005 to 2006. The new 5712 has a slightly larger and deeper case than its predecessor. The dial differs very slightly from that of Ref. 3712 – the date numbers, from 9 to 23, are upright for better legibility, and a larger date and moon phase display take the place of the 7 o’clock hour marker.
In 2012, Patek Philippe launched the pink gold and white gold versions. In the current 2016 collection, Ref. 5712 is available under the Ref. 5712G-001 in white gold, with leather strap and gold deployant clasp, as well as in 18K pink gold with black-brown dial and leather strap, under the Ref. 5712R-001, and in stainless steel with steel bracelet and midnight blue dial under the Ref. 5712/1A-001 (such as the present watch). Ref. 5712/1A is illustrated in Patek Philippe, The Authorized Biography, by Nicholas Foulkes, page 305.
“With the rounded octagonal shape of its bezel, the ingenious porthole construction of its case, and its horizontally embossed dial, the Nautilus has epitomized the elegant sports watch since 1976. Forty years later, it comprises a splendid collection of models for men and women. In steel, rose gold, white gold or two-tone combinations they accompany the most active lifestyles with incomparable class” courtesy of Patek Philippe website.
Dial, case and movement are signed.
The present watch comes with a fitted presentation box, certificate of Origin, booklet, setting pin and user manual.
