Iconeek is proud to introduce here a fine stainless steel automatic dual time wristwatch with sweep centre seconds, date, bracelet, guarantee and box: the Rolex, Oyster Perpetual Date, GMT-Master II, ref. 116710LN.
Reference GMT Master II reference 116710LN was introduced at the Basel World Fair in 2007, the “LN” standing for “Lunette Noir”, French for black bezel. The Oyster case was upgraded and differed from its predecessor with its larger proportions, lugs with vertical brushed finishing instead of diagonal, Triplock crown instead of Twinlock, anti-reflective coating of the cyclops lense, green GMT or 24 hour hand, green “GMT MASTER II” writing on the dial, “Maxi Dial”, (larger hands and larger indexes), black ceramic bezel insert with platinum-filled numbers as opposed to the anodized aluminium bezel insert of the, the bracelet with solid, polished centre links, heavier and more complicated construction of the clasp, including a hidden “Easy Link” system for bracelet quick adjustment. The model is no more in production and no more available.
The model comes with a caliber 3186, automatic movement with 31 jewels, hack mechanism. Under the sapphire crystal, we find a mint black, gloss dial with applied luminous dot baton and dagger numerals, luminous hands, a sweep center second and an aperture for the date at 3. The model is fitted with a 40 mm. stainless steel oyster case with screw back, bi-directional revolving bezel with black ceramic insert graduated for 24 hours. Dial, case and movement are signed.
Condition: in very good overall condition, full-set, first owner, fresh to the market. A nice addition to any collection.
