Since its creation, the Marine collection combines the traditional Breguet values with a modern sporty design. The Marine collection, inspired by the watches created by Abraham Louis Breguet for the French Navy, includes a chronograph, proposed in two size case (ref. 3460, 35.5 mm and ref. 4460, 32.5 mm diam), both with date aperture, mechanical movement with automatic winding.

Water-resistant to 30m, the round stepped case is in 18K yellow gold, with a fluted band, in fact « Breguet’s signature », a rounded stepped bezel secured to the case by four internal screws, a solid case back secured by 6 screws, and typical straight lugs with gold screed bars to secured the strap, a protected ogival-shaped crown with signed ring, two round chronograph pushers. The watch comes with an 18K yellow gold Breguet deployant clasp. Under the sapphire crystal glass, a superb two-tone, hand-guilloche, silvered, 18k gold plate dial with painted radial Roman numerals, an aperture for the date at 6, two gold dots at 3 and 9h, an outer minute/second division. We also find the famous blued steel Breguet hands, so called “pomme” hands, because of its typical apple’shape, as well as blued steel chronograph hands. This elegant wristwatch is animated by a caliber Breguet 576, rhodium plated with 37 jewels,self-winding with a gold rotor. Dial, case and movement are signed.

A very nice and elegant self-winding chronograph with perfect finishes.

Condition: 8.5/10, in very good overall condition, some light signs of wear mainly on the case back, leather strap worn.
