Iconeek is proud to introduce here a very rare and great condition Breitling ’s 18K gold United States of America Twenty Dollars coin watch. Concealed inside an 18K gold United States of America Twenty Dollars coin with Lady Liberty to the cover dated 1904, American bald eagle to the reverse with In God We Trust motto below, the watch appears by depressing a concealed thumb-piece in the milled band. The hinged gold cover opens to reveal an hinged gold circular case for the watch.
Coin watches, fitted in a 20 Dollar coin, were been done by celebrated brands such as Patek Philippe, with Ref. 802 & 803, Vacheron Constantin with Ref 4928, Rolex, model Cellini, Audemars Piguet, Piaget, Asprey or Omega, however to find one signed Breitling is even rarest!. These kind of watches were produced from the early 1960’s to the early 1990’s, and were popular due to the difficulty to fitted such a watch inside a coin.
The present Breitling’s coin watch is further accompanied by a custom made solid gold, stamped with gold marks between the lugs, coin’s holder with removable leather bracelet, in order to wear it as a regular wristwatch. A gold push button at 3 allows to open the front cover while wearing the « watch ». The lever at 9 is to secure the coin inside the watch’s holder. Dial, case and movement are signed.
