Iconeek is proud to introduce here a mint condition Daniel Roth wristwatch with large date and retrograde hours.

Made in the 1990s, the model, ref. 807, was very popular with its typical double ellipse-shaped case.  Called “Ellipsocurvex”, the shape is not ronde, square or oval, but all three together, totally innovating and immediately reconnizable.

The model was firstly available in 18k white gold and platinum. Previously born in several limited editions, the model was so popular that D.R, finally cased it in stainless steel – a less expensive version to pleased everyone-.

The watch is composed of a two-body case, polished and brushed , with a stepped rounded bezel, straight lugs, domed sapphire crystal, brushed case back secured by 4 screws.

The large two-tone embossed anthracite dial is set with large painted luminous radial Roman numerals for the retrograde hours on a plain reserve, graduated from 6 to 6, an outer minute track with 5- minute red radial Arabic markers, a large subsidiary dial for the date at 6 and luminous arrow hands.

Inside beats a caliber DR700/10, mechanical, self-winding, rhodium-plated, with Côtes de Genève decoration, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement are signed. The watch comes with a leather strap and stainless steel Daniel Roth deployant clasp.

With its classy look and unusual shaped and way to display time,  this is the  kind of wristwatch, you will not see on every wrist.

Condition: 9.5/10, extremely good overall condition, some tiny signs of wear on the leather strap.
