ENICAR, SHERPA, SUPER-DIVE

ICONEEK price: SOLD

Iconeek is proud to introduce here a rare and attractive vintage diving wristwatch with sweep center second and date: the Enicar Sherpa Super-Dive. In 1964, Enicar introduced its first two-crown dive watch.

Cased in a large stainless steel water-resistant tonneau-shaped case, the model is set with a black dial and an inner revolving disc for decompression time. Under the plexiglass, we find a matte black dial with applied steel faceted baton indexes, luminous tips, minute and second division, aperture for the red/black date, sweep center second. Trained eyes will notice the rare Dauphine hands on this model.  The dial is featuring a « T »  for tritium.

Under the compressor-type case back, we find a caliber 1145-B, gilt finish automatic movement, with 24 jewels, blued steel screws, shock absorbers. The present watch is not featuring the « Seapearl » logo on the case back, some military versions were delivered with different case backs. The signature cross-hatch crowns are still intact. Dial, case and movement are signed.
