Iconeek is very proud to introduce here a superb and rare, attractive, early, F.P Journe Octa Automatique. The Octa Automatique is the very first model of F.P. Journe’s Octa series of wristwatches, launched in 2001. The model was launched with an innovative new caliber incorporating a power of 120 hours and built to support the addition of complications without changing the overall thickness, reason why the models belonging to the Octa collection are similar in diameter and thickness.

The present model is a large platinum, water-resistant, self-winding, wristwatch with large 2-digit date, power reserve indication and off-center gold dial. Under the transparent case back, we find a caliber 1300, rhodium plated with gyromax type 4 arm balance, adjusted 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock-absorbers, 22K gold rotor. Under the sapphire crystal, the model is fitted with a pink frosted gold dial with eccentric silvered guilloche dial for time display with radial Arabic numerals, minute track and outer radial 5-minute division for the minute, a sub seconds, fan-form sector at 9 for 120-hour power, large aperture at 11 for the 2-digit date, blued steel hands. Dial, case and movement are signed. The size between the lugs is 20 mm. The present watch is fitted with a F.P Journe leather strap and a platinum F.P Journe buckle.The watch presented here is in excellent overall condition and complete with all accessories.
