The Arena BiRetro is an elegant sporty, self-winding, water-resistant, jumping hour titanium wristwatch with retrograde minutes and retrograde date. The kind of watch you will not see on every wrist. Why?, simply because the watch has an outstanding design, far from the classical production.  Gerald Genta is the « father » of several landmark models, such as the Nautilus or the Royal Oak, however he was also a genius of creativity, bringing fresh air to a swiss watch industry breathless. The only common point, that Genta’s watches share with the best manufacturers,  is perfection for details.

With its large 45 mm, water-resistant,  brushed titanium case, with rounded bezel and straight lugs with screwed bars, this sports watch is also set with a protected screwed down winding crown edged with dots, and a corrector on the band for a quick adjustment of the hour.

This unusual watch has a « serious watch presence » and in the same time a funny and playful vision of high-end watchmaking. Why because the watch brings on the table, serious complications, such as a jumping hour display, a retrograde minute hand and a retrograde date indication. Thanks to the  transparent case back with 8 screws, we can have a look to the perfectly finished  Cal. GG7723, rhodium plated, with oeil de perdrix decoration, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, and hack mechanism. Under the domed sapphire crystal, an attractive two tone, white and green multi-layers dial, with large luminous white Arabic numerals for the retrograde minutes sector, at 12, aperture for the jump hour, at the bottom sector for the retrograde date, outer minute track with every five minute Arabic numerals. Luminous white skeleton hand. Dial, case and movement are signed. The watch comes on a green rubber strap with secured double GG deployant clasp. the approx. overall length is 175 mm.
