At first glance, the present Harry Winston Triple Retrograde Chronograph is not only a suberb and elegant dress watch but also a complicated useful watch with its special chronograph. In fact, the layout of the dial is just perfect as all information are immediately visible without any hands crossing, thanks to triple retrograde chronograph mechanism. The watch is also water-resistant to 100 meters. A sporty and very chic every day companion. Harry Winston timepieces are manufactured in Geneva, the fine watchmaking capital of the world.

The large rounded 18K white gold case is set with a brushed stepped inclined bezel and flat sapphire crystal. The large screw-down winding crown bears the HW logo. The sapphire crystal case-back is secured by 8 screws, and allows to see the mouvement. The pushers are perfectly integrated to the case, they operate very smoothly. The black crocodile leather strap with its 18k white gold HW buckle is mounted on mobile lugs for an improved comfort.

The excentered time display is located on the top of the two tone brushed grey dial. This off-center sub dial is fitted with painted luminous Arabic numerals and minute division and white gold luminous sword hands. Below,  three sectors for the retrograde 12-hour 30-minute and 60-second indications of the chronograph, as well as a small round aperture for the constant second.

The watch is powered by caliber FP1185, based Frederic Piguet, with module HW2831, a mechanical self-winding movement, rhodium plated, with 37 jewels (49 jewels in total), 21,600 vibrations per hour, 40-hour power-reserve, a monometallic balance, flat hairspring, shock-absorber and  an 18k pink gold brushed rotor with HW logo. The movement is nicely decorated with Cotes de Genève and perlage. Case, dial and movement signed.

The retail price in white gold was approx. 30’350. Euros in 2008.
