Iconeek is proud to introduce here an extremely fine and rare limited edition Atmos clock by Jaeger-LeCoultre: the Jubilé. Produced in 1979 in  a limited edition of 1500 pieces for the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Atmos, created by J.L Reutter in 1929.

The model is fine, rectangular, gilt brass and glass Atmos clock wound by barometric pressure changes. The present clock is in mint condition and very full-set ! with its original fitted red leather presentation box, international guarantee booklet dated January 1980, user manual, original Atmos Jubilé instructions card ( for shipping), original invoice dated January 1980, original Certificate dated January 1980 for Atmos Jubilé no. 431. The clock is furthermore accompanied by a service invoice dated March 1988 and a service guarantee dated March 1988.

The model has a pink gilt brass rectangular case, glazed on 4 sides and on the top, stepped plinth base, toupie feet as leveling screws. The model also comes with a  white enamel dial with large radial Roman numerals, outer minute railway division, blued steel Breguet hands. The dial is signed «  ATMOS, Jaeger-LeCoultre, BREVETS J.L REUTTER ». The Atmos Jubilé caliber is powered by the JLC 550, the clock  looks externally like an Atmos I (with a gas cartridge instead the original mercury one), gilt brass, vacuum chamber winding the going barrel, 15 jewels, lever escapement driven by annular torsion pendulum, and locking lever in the base.

Dial signed, case and movement numbered.

Much sought after by collectors, these Anniversary Atmos are highly collectible, especially when in close to perfect condition and full-set such as the present example.
