Reference 5712 was released in October 2006 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the celebrated Nautilus collection and to replace Reference 3712 in production from 2005 to 2006. The dial is very slightly different from ref. 3712, the index at 7 is missing.  In 2012, Patek Philippe launched the pink gold and white gold versions. In the current collection, Ref 5712 is available in white gold, under ref. 5712G-001 with leather strap and gold deployant clasp, as well as, in 18K pink gold under ref. 5712R-001 with black-brown dial and leather strap,  in stainless steel with steel bracelet and black-blue dial under ref. 5712/1A-001, such as  the present watch.
