Iconeek is proud to introduce here a superb and highly attractive sport’s watch: the Nautilus Annual Calendar in steel, Ref. 5726/1A.  Ref. 5726 was launched in 2010 in stainless steel only, with a leather strap. In 2012, Patek Philippe began production of the reference 5726/1A, which came with a steel bracelet and a lighter silver dial, such as the present watch. Ref. 5726A is illustrated in Patek Philippe, The Authorized Biography, by Nicholas Foulkes, page 305. From the Nautilus collection, men’s watches, the model is actually available in two versions: ref. 5726/1A-001 with black dial, such as the present watch, and ref. 5726/1A-010 with white dial. The actual retail price is 39’000.- CHF.

One of Patek Philippe most wanted complication is probably the annual calendar. The annual calendar works like a perpetual calendar, without any correction during the year, except on February where the calendar needs to be manually adjusted (whereas the perpetual calendar needs zero correction all the year).

Under the sapphire-crystal, a super and mint black dial with gold applied hour indexes with luminescent coating, day and month indications in line below 12, moon phases combined with 24h indication at 6, outermost date display at 6, luminous hands and sweep center seconds.

Water-resistant to 120m, the model is a very fine automatic, annual calendar, stainless steel men’s wristwatch with moon phases, 24-hour indication and sweep center seconds. The 40.5 mm diameter stainless steel porthole-shaped case is set with a flat brushed bezel with lapidated edges, a screw down crown with crown guard, a transparent screwed case back, sapphire crystals, and a removable stainless steel PP bracelet with Nautilus fold-over clasp.

Under sapphire-crystal case back, this elegant sport’s watch is powered by a caliber PP 324 S QA LU24H, a mechanical self-winding movement, rhodium-plated, with 34 jewels, Gyromax balance, Spiromax balance spring, stamped with the Patek Philippe seal, gold rotor.  Dial, case and movement are signed.

With a growing demand and waiting list at  PP retailers, the model is already an icon and probably the most useful Nautilus one can aspire of. To own a Nautilus is a privilege, to own a complicated Nautilus is an absolute must !
