Iconeek is proud to introduce here a rare and superb condition Air-king made specially for Domino’s Pizza group. Rolex ’s watches that are fitted with double signed dials are rare and collectibles. Among the double signed Rolexes, the most famous ones were produced for the Comex, Tiffany & Co or Cartier, for examples. The present wristwatch is a model Air-King, Ref. 14000 with sapphire glass, with the Domino’s Pizza logo applied on the brushed silver dial. This model is one of the series of watches ordered by different companies to Rolex, bearing their commercial logo on the dial, for presentation purposes, special anniversary, or employees rewards.

Regarding the Domino’s Pizza presented here, according to scholars, those watches were given to certain store managers in the US who exceeded their sales targets by a large amount. The case back is engraved « J.J.L T.S.M », in fact, the T.S.M Leasing, Inc. was a financial service of Domino company that loaned money to franchisees who could not find other start-up financing.

The watch comes with a three-body construction: a snap on inclined steel bezel with sapphire crystal, a water-resistant oyster tonneau-shaped case with downturned lugs, a screwed Oyster crown, a screwed steel case back. The case is engraved « T962512 » between the lugs at 6, and « 14000 » between the lugs at 12. The inside back is stamped « 14000 ».

Inside ticks a caliber Rolex 3000, rhodium-plated, with 27 jewels, straight -line lever escapement, self-compensating flat balance-spring, a monometallic 3-arm balance with microstella screws, shock-absorbers, hack mechanism.The present watch comes with its original stainless steel Oyster bracelet, ref. 78350 with endlinks no. 557B. The approx. overall length is 180 mm. The size between the lugs is 18.90 mm. Dial, case and movement are signed. A similar watch is illustrated in “Rolex, Collecting Modern and Vintage wristwatches” by Guido Mondani, pg. 392.

A collectible watch, as Rolex’s collaboration with other brands was very rare, and even rarest today.

Condition: 9/10, in superb overall condition.
