Iconeek is proud to introduce here a nice and rare 14K gold Oyster with underline dial, probably made for the American Market. The model is an attractive 34 mm. , water-resistant, tonneau-shaped, 14K gold wristwatch, certified chronometer, Reference 1002, Oyster Perpetual Rolex with « Underline » dial. The model comes with a smooth bezel and acrylic crystal, an original brushed silvered satin “underline” dial with early style tapered gold applied indexes, luminous gold Dauphine hands, a sweep center second, an outer minute and second black division. A seemingly subtle detail truly set this watch apart: the underline mark below the Oyster Perpetual signature, which collectors and historians hypothesize as signifying Rolex’s use of tritium on the dial. The underline is absolutely correct when one considers the serial number. Powered by a rhodium-plated, self-winding, superlative chronometer officially certified, caliber 1560 movement with 26 jewels, with straight line lever escapement, self-compensating Breguet hairspring, shock absorbers. The size between the lus is 19 mm. The present watch comes with a leather strap and a gold plated Rolex buckle. Dial, case and movement are signed.

Condition: 8/10, in very honest overall condition, case has been re-polished in the past, movement a bit dirty but in working condition, overall recommended
