Iconeek is proud to introduce here an attractive, self-winding, water-resistant, Prince Date Chronograph by Tudor, Ref. 79260P with a panda style dial. In 1995, Tudor chronographs change their look. The cases are still provided by Rolex manufactory, however they are redesigned into a thinner version with smoother lines, compared to the older « Big Block » models. The bezel insert is now made of aluminium, the plexiglass is replaced by a sapphire crystal. The models are fitted with the improved version of the Valjoux 7750 automatic movement. Following the firm’s 50th anniversary in 1996, all references to Rolex gradually disappear. The model name is changed from “Oysterdate” to “Prince Date”, tritium is progressively replaced by luminova. The triplock crown is personalized with the Tudor shield, like the present watch,  the case back omits any references to Rolex. The Oyster bracelet used by Tudor becomes reference 78400.

The present model is powered by a caliber 7750, based Valjoux, automatic movement, 25 jewels. Under the sapphire crystal glass with magnifying loup for the date, we find a silvered brushed dial, with applied steel baton numerals, luminous accents, luminous hands, three black sunken engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, magnified window for date. The model has a three-body construction: a robust and large, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant-type case, a black bezel calibrated for 500 units, a screw back stamped “Tudor, Prince, Geneva”, a screw down crown protected by a crown guard, two round screw down chronograph buttons in the band, a stainless steel Tudor bracelet with deployant clasp. Case, dial and movement are signed. The approx. overall length of bracelet is 180 mm. the size between the lugs is 20 mm.
