Iconeek is proud to introduce here a superb and attractive, limited edition, Zenith, automatic stainless steel chronograph: The Captain Red Primero. The present watch no. 332 was part of a limited edition of only 500 pieces. Sold almost immediatly after the release, the model has been very well received among aficionados.

The model comes with a three-body construction: a large water-resistant 42 mm. diameter tonneau-shaped case with downturned lugs, rectangular chronograph pushers, a stepped rounded polished steel bezel, a transparent case back secured by four screws, front and back sapphire crystals.Under the sapphire crystal, we find a mint gloss black dial, with applied steel indexes, aperture for the red date at 6, three subsidiary dials for the 30-minute register at 3, the constant second at 9, the 12-hour register at 6, red central chronograph hand, outer minute and 1/5th second division. Throught the transparent case back, the caliber Zenith 400, El Primero, rhodium plated, 31 jewels, 36000 alt/hour, straight line lever escapement, shock-absorbers, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring.

Normally sold with a regular steel Zenith buckle, the present watch has been fitted  with the more convenient polished stainless steel double secured Zenith deployant clasp. The size between the lugs is 21 mm.Dial, case and movement are signed. The retail price at the time was approx. 6’900.- CHF.
